Volunteer Opportunities
We love our volunteers and are always looking for wonderful people to join our SoL family! There is always plenty of work to be done, but the rewards are many. We welcome compassionate volunteers who love to spend time with animals and be outdoors. Our regular volunteers help with day to day care at the sanctuary. We also host volunteer work days for bigger projects.
Our regular volunteers help make everything we do possible! There is plenty of work to do at the sanctuary and also a lot of love! We ask for a commitment of a minimum of two 3-hour shifts per month upon completion of training. You must be 16 years of age or older to be considered as a regular volunteer. We are hoping to add a board member to our small but mighty team to help with fundraising. Our board does all the planning and decision making for the sanctuary. We are a dedicated and passionate team who work closely together to make SoL the best possible home for the animals. We are 100% volunteer run and 100% donation funded. We would love to add a wonderful person to our team. We are looking for someone who has experience fundraising, energy to help us with events and other fundraising adventures, time to share, and love for the animals.
