We are all born as natural dancers, dance and yoga are always calling us back into our bodies to ignite our life energy, Prana (breath). From the yogic view, we flow with our breath, we let the intelligence of our breath lead our movement. Yoga trance dance has a similar focus, rather than emphasizing an outward performance the goal is to let your creative energy move through you- to be guided by your spirit. To let go of judgment and ego. Trance Dance serves from spirit, the structure supports intuition. Yoga prepares you for free from dance and your dance opens your being for a greater experience of the unified self that is yoga.

In my yoga Trance dance class, I like to create a safe and comfortable atmosphere. Every single soul on this earth is welcome and will be loved. We start slow with movement meditation, then move into gentle yoga flow, which eventually leads us into our upbeat ecstatic dance (to be in trance, one with ourselves). There is no wrong or right way in dance. You just surrender and trust your spirit. You move the way you want to move. It’s your dance!

Yoga Trance dance has moved me in such a beautiful way. Dancing freely is medicine I didn’t know I needed. Trance dance brings so much JOY, helps release trapped energy, brings laughter and tears. Not only does it bring connection to self, it brings connection to all that is surrounding you, nature, animals, humans your dancing with, loved ones that have passed on. Magic Lets unlock that primal wild energy that we all have.

The energy we offer is reciprocal and often reflected back to us, strengthening bonds and deepening connections.

Being in nature; feeling the Earth under your feet, the sun on your face or listening to the birds, has a profound healing effect. It lowers stress, boosts mood, enhances immunity, and increases clarity and creativity. When we are kind to and connect with the natural world, it nurtures us in return, offering a sense of peace and grounding that supports our well-being. Connecting with the animals and immersing ourselves in nature is transformative and healing for humans, the animals, and the Earth.

Please join us for our upcoming retreats where we practice Ahimsa together. Our retreat series is designed to nourish your mind, body and soul through connecting gently with the animals, nature, and each other, nourishing food, gentle movement (yoga), meditation, acceptance, belonging, love, kindness, and compassion.
